i bought these on a whim, and I do love the elevatedness(is that a word? lol) the only issue I have is, as on ps4 the R3/L3 is harder to activate, I play Fortnite so to sprint/slide. i just had to alter the way i push them, other than that, they stay on greatbf loves them. he says they could be better but they’re great for their priceI would 100 percent buy again they were affordable and awesomeI've never purchased extenders before. but I'm glad I bought these ones fit nice and snug on the controller don't pop off. I thought I'd be better at a game but it's me not the controller would definitely purchase again five starsYou're busy. Let's get straight to the point:Pros:+ Extensions feel natural, not too short, not too tall+ No stick rubbing+ Very reactive and plenty of movementCons:- "Pads" are hard plastic, slippery - that's a deal killer for me- Clips are very weak.- Price, too high for nothing but plasticDetails:I use 2 Battle Beaver Custom controllers for the PS4 as each has different options. I wanted another set of KontrolFreeks but without the KF price. I tried these given many of the reviews are positive, but they're not for me.I tried adding grip tops, but the curved plastic piece is too large.3 days after receiving them, I was swapping them to the other controller when one of the clasps broke, making the stick completely useless. I will never understand why these companies can't design a wrap around system instead of using clips. Wait, I do know why, but I'm not buying these again. If you're the type of gamer where using the indentation of your thumb is how you control movement, these may work very well for you as the hard plastic dome will fit snuggly in the indentation. If you're like me and you use the edge to move them, these will not work for you.Had the tips been rubber or silicon coated, I believe this would have made it useful for all types of gamers.Hope this short and simple review helped. Thanks for reading and have a great day.A little to smooth but they help with aiming a ton. These are the price KF's should be. Unfortunately, they spend all our money on marketing. I'd prefer not to contribute to the "basics" empire either, but honestly, these things are commodity pieces of plastic and shouldn't cost $15. These are quite well made and feel like quality. I'll update if they don't last, but given the design and how strongly they seem to be clipped in, I don't know how they can prematurely fail. These help me with FPS games like COD, and I only use it on the right, aiming stick. YMMV if you press/push/rub harder than others. Seem pretty good on my first couple of sessions with what I consider is normal use and pressure. KF's had a good run with their "innovation" and have profited plenty by overcharging for these. Glad these are here and normalizing pricing for this item.On the basis of one of the reviews here I decided to try these out to see if they fit my XB One controller, mainly because of the color, and they're ten bucks cheaper than the Kontrolfreaks. If they hadn't fit at all, I'd have no one to blame but myself, but you see, one of them did fit. I have no idea which of these is manufactured correctly, but either the PS controller has a larger stick and one of these is extra tight/just too small, or they have the same size sticks as the Xbox and one of these things is super-loose. Either way, it's not a good sign to me. You might as well go for the one with the decent reputation if you have the extra ten bucks. I gotta have the extra control precision to play old Doom using a paired controller on my phone, though. These are no less than KontrolFreek grips and are well worth the price. There is one more package with one pair of blue and black each, which I found later and there's not much price difference. I suggest to get that one instead for even greater value. These are medium height and are excellent for FPS games. Although the grip surface itself could have been a little more stickier.I highly recommend these to anyone who's looking to improve their gaming.Quality is good. I got this for an Xbox one S controller after reading one review stating that these do fit Xbox one but sadly no, they don’t.I used fevikwik/epoxy glue to attach them and they are doing good.I only use this thing for fps games like apex and doom. It takes a day or two to get used to it, and in a multiplayer setting it can get frustrating playing with something I'm not used to so I kept taking it off. After actually getting used to the stick though, I feel like my aim and recoil control is easier, and it actually feels very weird to play a shooter without them, like playing with the little nub sticks on the switch. If you don't go ham 100% force on your sticks these shouldn't fall off.I noticed a difference in games where sniping is important. Bigger range of motion and therefore more accurate. I only put one on the right joystick as you dont need to be accurate with left joystick in 99% of games (speed matters more in left joystick). So on my 3 controllers there is one of these and I have a spare one just in case I lose one somehow. The quality is very much acceptable for the price. Some people complain the surface is not grippy enough but honestly it hasnt been an issue my fingers dont really noticeably slip. If youre looking for a soft, inexpensive controller mod I recommend this product especially if you snipe in FPS games.I was so excited for them to come in today so I could play and give them a chance. Unfortunately one of them is missing a tab that helps connect it to the joystick. I don’t know if it’s a manufacturer defect... So I’m only able to use one of them. Super bummed about that. Might go look for another product.
